We are a husband-wife saddle shop located 6 miles west of Bozeman, in Belgrade, Montana. As custom saddlemakers, dedicated to building quality handcrafted horse gear, we have a special interest in Wade saddles built on Laporte Poly-Tuff trees with Double H cable rigging. The Poly-Tuff is a remarkable carbon composite material that is semi-rigid to enhance fit and comfort for your horse. The coated cable is a one piece continous loop cast into the tree and remains flexible conforming well to your horse. The strength of the cable is 12 tons! In addition, the cable rigging eliminates bulk under the leg and seat allowing closer contact between you and your horse, and the rigging position can be easily adjusted. The completed saddle is lightweight, durable, and strong. Over the years, we have worked hard at our craft and take pride in the quality of our saddles. Everything is completely handsewn with particular attention to detail. Whether building a saddle on a traditional rawhide-covered wood tree or a Laporte Poly-Tuff tree, our goal remains the same - satisfaction.
